Kings County is located in the Central Valley of California. It is located in a rich agricultural region. Kings County is also home to NAS Lemoore, which is the U.S. Navy's newest and largest master jet air station. The economy is based on agriculture. The county seat is Hanford. Hanford offers a unique blend of old and new, historic and contemporary living environments.
Hanford is truly one of California's hidden treasures. It is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 1997 Prettiest Pained Places, Helen Putnam Award for Excellence, Tree City U.S.A. and a 1993 Governor's Preservation Award. Hanford is a safe, family-orientated community. This historic restoration of the community and renovation of the downtown, highlight the efforts of the agricultural, agribusiness, industrial, and commercial sectors all working together to make and maintain Historic Hanford.

California, the Golden State. It is BIG. If you get to go once in your life time these are "must explore" areas to consider: The Cascades
of northern California, the Central Coast
where doing the coast highway is imperative, and SanFrancisco and the entire Bay Area
. For something entirely out of this world we recommend Death Valley and the Califonia deserts
. Of course there are other areas you might like, (a true exploration of this fabulous state can take a life time), so make good use of this site to get around. We also make our entire database available to you on your cell, so if you are on the road use VISNETMP.COM
